Over the three days, partners met in person to present results, review progress, and plan future actions under the EU-funded project H2Heat: Innovative Renewable Energy Carrier Production for Heating from Renewable Energies.
Day 1 – Presentations, Planning, and Coordination

The meeting opened with a welcome from the Project Coordinator, Gordon Dalton, followed by presentations from core work packages.

Partners provided updates on technical milestones, stakeholder outreach, and challenges encountered. A dedicated session on project risk management helped to ensure that the consortium remains aligned on mitigation strategies as we approach key demonstration phases.
Day 2 – Evaluation and Stakeholder Engagement
The second day featured a joint session with the Project Officer, who offered feedback on project achievements and performance. An extended discussion explored the progress of WP5 and WP2, with a focus on technical implementation and system integration.

B2B Stakeholder Session
In the afternoon, the spotlight shifted to the B2B Stakeholder Session, bringing H2Heat partners together with businesses from the Canary Islands involved in hydrogen storage, transport, and applications. Hosted across multiple meeting rooms, the session created new collaboration pathways and perhaps promoted a regional engagement in green hydrogen development.

Day 3 – Technical Site Visit and Forward Planning

On the final day, partners visited CHUIMI Hospital in Las Palmas, one of the key pilot sites where the hydrogen heating system will be installed. The visit offered a hands-on view of H2Heat’s real-world impact. Afternoon discussions returned to the meeting venue, focusing on WP3 and WP4, including open dialogue on partner contributions, site-specific challenges, and energy cost projections.
With over 20 participants, including technical experts, industry partners, and communication leads, the 2025 AGM reinforced the strong collaboration that drives the H2Heat project.
