CMC as representative of both industry and civil society they will support stakeholder engagement and exploitation activities for the canary island pilot companies. CMC is a regional non-profit association whose primary objective is to promote the development and international competitiveness of the Marine Maritime Sector of the Canary Islands while raising the business, economic and social fabric of the Canary Islands through integration, creation, strengthening and sustainability of the companies and institutions that are within the MM value chain.
H2HEAT will have a large emphasis on all-inclusive stakeholder engagement, on a project wide, life-cycle basis. A QH platform will initially be established leveraging the CMC cluster in Las Palmas and subsequently in Tenerife to represent full Canary Island coverage. The QH platform will link representatives of civil society, industry, academia, and government, and the investor community to promote real and sustainable engagement for the duration of the project and, in legacy terms, beyond. Engagement will extend from information provision into educative, communicative and participative involvement in the project with workshops and case studies. H2HEAT will initially establish a full QH in cooperation with partner CMC cluster on Gran Canaria with members representing industry, local government, civil society and academia.
